Poop No More

Well if you were hoping to eat poop candy at Animal Kingdom, you may have missed your chance. The unique treats were introduced only two weeks ago at Zuri’s Sweets Shop and featured poop shaped candies of an elephant (chocolate peanut butter fudge with rolled oats), a hippo (chocolate fudge brownie with peanut butter), a giraffe (rolled fudge brownie with fresh caramel), or a tamarin (pretzel pearls coated in peanut butter fudge). The dung shaped edibles retailed for $3.99.

The candy garnered much publicity across the country but the general opinion on them were mixed. Guest Services received many complaints for its “non-Disney” appearance. There’s no word whether they will return to the park or if the poop is a permanent treat of the past.

Disney still has not released an official statement about the candy’s removal.

Kungaloosh Radio

Theresa has been a life-long Disney fan since she first visited the Magic Kingdom in 1985 at the age of 3. According to her mother, she squealed with excitement when she saw Winnie the Pooh and Chip n' Dale for the first time. That love for Disney has not waned as she grew up. She continues to be fascinated with the history of EPCOT Center and maintains the radio station, Kungaloosh Radio.
