Yes kids, it’s that time again! It’s the event that foodies, stay at home cooks and alcoholics all look forward to. Now celebrating its 18th year, the food fest runs from September 27 – November 11 for extra yumminess. Don’t expect to get by on the cheap. It’s not a hard ticketed event (just need admission to Epcot) but the appetizer sized portions run from $4 – $8. The most expensive item is the Lobster Roll with Lemon Herb Mayonnaise at 7.95 for a half a roll. There’s seminars, tastings and most importantly…booze. The alcohol and mixed drinks range from $3 – $9.

There’s new booths this year including Scotland, American Adventure Coffee Cart and Brazil (returning after a year hiatus).

There’s a ton of great new items including the Crispy Pork Belly with Black Beans, Onions, Avocado and Cilantro (Brazil) and Vegetarian Haggis with Neeps and Tatties-Griddled Vegetable Cake with Rutabaga and Mashed Potatoes (Scotland). Of course returning favorites like the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup (Canada) also makes their appearance.

All booths accepted cash, charge, and Disney Dining Snack credits as payments. A word of caution, make sure your “snack” counts as a snack and not a whole meal credit.

Menus for the carts can be found at the Disney Food Blog

Kungaloosh Radio

Theresa has been a life-long Disney fan since she first visited the Magic Kingdom in 1985 at the age of 3. According to her mother, she squealed with excitement when she saw Winnie the Pooh and Chip n' Dale for the first time. That love for Disney has not waned as she grew up. She continues to be fascinated with the history of EPCOT Center and maintains the radio station, Kungaloosh Radio.
