Dateline: Walt Disney World – March 27, 2021
This week, Mickey goes mobile, Bob thinks everything is okay, and Florida drivers are in for a treat. Let’s board the PeopleMover and take a look at this week’s news.
New Virtual Cards: You have already heard about the new MagicMobile experience. Take a look at the virtual cards that you can get for the My Disney Experience app. There are several designs, including those featuring the theme parks and characters.
More Post-Pandemic News: In a Bloomberg interview, Disney CEO Bob Chapek made a few indirect statements that the reservation system will be around for a long time.
[We’ve introduced] a new reservation system that is going to enable our guests to have a great time no matter when they choose to come to Disney.
In the same interview, Chapek stated that guest satisfaction is at an all-time high.
Our guest satisfaction score since we reopened across the world have shown that, indeed, our guests are even more satisfied than they were prior to the pandemic.
Sorry, Bob, but we hardly believe anyone is happy with the limited offerings at the parks. Nice try, though!
New Florida License Plates: Get ready Florida drivers! You will soon be able to purchase a Walt Disney World Resort plate. All the proceeds of the plate sales benefit Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida.
Well, that’s all for this week. Kinda a slow week for news. Are you excited about the new Florida license plates? The Kungaloosh Mobile might be getting one after our big Florida move. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
