Farewell to Flower & Garden Festival

Since I had a friend in town for the past two weeks, I skipped on  regular updates. Sometimes, you just have to enjoy the moment and put the camera/phone down.

Of course, I still snapped a few pics. Here’s a look at what I was doing.

Noshing on some Epcot snacks…

Spotting hidden Mickeys…

Eating more food…

Looking for hidden ducks..

Checking out the Disney character references in Living with the Land…

Enjoying the peaceful sounds of the water features in Japan…

Grabbing some shrimp tacos at the ABC Commissary…

Seeing more hidden Mickeys…

Going on an adventure at Fantasmic…

Snacking on more treats…

Marveling at the topiaries…

Cheesing it up in Germany…

Entertaining a few ducks as guests…

Topping things off with a Dole Whip (which should’ve been like flavored, but the machine was broken)…

Snapping a few pics of the moon over Spaceship Earth.

After a whirlwind of a few weeks, we’re back in the parks and off to Epcot for the finale of the Flower and Garden festival. So my goal for the day was to document as much as possible. While I would love to post everything, everyone’s browser would probably implode. So let’s settle for a slideshow.

And some quick audio/visuals from the day too.

First up, the Groot Topiary with music…and some random lady’s conversation.

This is from the Japan pavilion. It’s playing “When You Wish Upon a Star”

And that’s a wrap with Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival.

Until next year!

Kungaloosh Radio

Theresa has been a life-long Disney fan since she first visited the Magic Kingdom in 1985 at the age of 3. According to her mother, she squealed with excitement when she saw Winnie the Pooh and Chip n' Dale for the first time. That love for Disney has not waned as she grew up. She continues to be fascinated with the history of EPCOT Center and maintains the radio station, Kungaloosh Radio.
