Smellephants on Parade: Let’s Get the Answers

If you’re traveling through Storybook Circus, you might notice a few new residents.

The Smellephants have arrived. What’s a smellaphant? They’re special elephants that disperse a specific scent, like corn dogs and cotton candy.

You can find them throughout the area with a free scavenger hunt (presented by Scentsy).

So the premise is that you’re a “whiff-sistant” who needs to match the corresponding elephants with the smells on the map.

How do you play? You can grab a map right out the Big Top Souvenirs ticket booth. There’s a Cast Member handing out the goods and rewarding with a surprise.

If you have done the hunts around Epcot, you already know the drill. You need to match the scents with the sticker on the map.

Here’s a look at our map…

And the scents that we need to sniff…or find.

Let’s start with the first Smellephant that you will encounter. If you keep heading left from the Big Top main entrance, you will find the Caramel Apple elephant.

Keep heading down towards the second entrance of Big Top, you will spot Cotton Candy.

A little ways down by the actual entrance of the meet and greet, you can see the Corn Dog smellephant.

Now head down the stairs. The Churro smellelphant is hiding in the corner.

We need to walk towards Goofy’s Barnstormer. There’s two smellephants in the planter area to the left of the entrance near the train station and Casey’s Splash area.

First up is Bubblegum…

And walk left to see Pink Lemonade.

The last two are by Dumbo. Snowcone is to the left of the Dumbo entrance.

And Popcorn is tucked in the area used to park strollers (off to the right of the entrance).

Your completed map should look like this:

And the prize? A whiff-sistant sticker with Timothy Q. Mouse.

Overall thoughts – it was cute, but I wouldn’t rope drop or spend a lot of time on this trek.

There were problems with the scents. Some you could barely smell or others are just located in crowded areas. I got plenty of dirty looks trying to get close and take pictures of the smellephants.

If you have some spare time, definitely check them out. It’s a fun addition to the park.

Let me know in the comments if you have looked for the smellephants or if this is a pass for you.

According to her mother, she squealed with excitement when she saw Winnie the Pooh and Chip n' Dale for the first time. That love for Disney has not waned as she grew up. She continues to be fascinated with the history of EPCOT Center and maintains the radio station, Kungaloosh Radio.
