Farewell to Dino-Rama

Well, we all knew this day was coming… the end of Dinoland, or more specifically, Dino-Rama was going extinct.

So, I dis what any 40-something would do: take her plushies to the park.

Let’s take a look into the Dino-Rama section.

Hi Cementasaurus!

Triceratops Spin taking on a few last passengers.

Plenty o’ Prehistoric Laffs

Will the gas pumps be moved?

Bye Dino rock sculpture…

I’ll miss your happy dino faces.

It’s a shame to lose Chester’s and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. The store has literally a treasure trove of dino goodness.

Another angle of the rock sculpture. At one time, this was brightly colored.

The World’s Largest Pin Truck.

The Cast Member was very nice and sad to see the area closed. Fortunately, she had a position already lined up at the front gates.

Welcome to Dino-Rama!

All the dino plushies have their moment with the sign.

More Dino bash stuff…

This is not closing down… yet.

On the path to Chester and Hester’s

I found the iguanodon!

The mural on Dinosaur Treasures.

Plenty of details all over the land. You might never see this ever again.

Cretaceous Trail looks to be staying open for a while too.

Just taking it all in.

Cementasaurus gazing over the fair games.

See ya real soon!

Plushie selfies!

Wandering around the carnival games…

Daryl the Dino

I would have loved to be here in its heyday. Yes, it’s tacky because it’s supposed to look like a parking lot carnival.

Cementasaurus Plush photo shot

We’ll miss that smile…

All the dino plushies!

One last photo op with the car cutout!

More random dinosaur goodness near the exterior of the Dinoland.

“Dino-Rama” in shrubbery

Daryl and his namesake

When the whole world smiles, you face the wrecking ball.

The Triceratops Spin topper

So, this area will not shut down…just yet. Everyone was out, even a guy dressed up as Dr. Grant Seeker.

Christmas decorations are still out.

The plushies and I had to take a photo with Donald. After all, it is Donald’s Dino Bash.

Time for dinner…

And then back to Dinoland for the night.

Peek-a-boo

Another Dino Bash moment.

Taking a spin on Triceratops Spin.

Some more exterior nighttime shots…

Let’s check out the Gifts of Extinction for one last time.

So long, pal!

Just taking in the evening…

One last look at the back…

And our iguanodon.

Looking at Tricertops Spin

A path to nowhere

Would they miss any of these weathervanes?

Be sure to visit Epcot

Standing guard until the end.

See ya real soon!

Now it’s my time to say goodbye!

The final moments of a Saturday night.

Thank you Cementasaurus for the memories.

Too bad Disney doesn’t see the value of improving upon a land. Instead, they want to rip everything out and stick in IP.

That’s a wrap on our visit to Dino-Rama. The rest of the land will remain open for the rest of 2025. But this section is going extinct in less than a day.

Kungaloosh Radio

Theresa has been a life-long Disney fan since she first visited the Magic Kingdom in 1985 at the age of 3. According to her mother, she squealed with excitement when she saw Winnie the Pooh and Chip n' Dale for the first time. That love for Disney has not waned as she grew up. She continues to be fascinated with the history of EPCOT Center and maintains the radio station, Kungaloosh Radio.
