Tracking Down Every Painting in Figment’s Brush with the Masters (2025)
If it’s Epcot’s Festival of the Arts, you can count on two things: plenty of Figment and stunning works of art.
Figment loves to sneak into a few iconic masterpieces, adding his unique charm to the mix.
One of our favorite traditions each year is hunting down those whimsical Figment-infused masterpieces around World Showcase. So, let’s dive into the 2025 edition of Figment’s Brush With the Masters!
First things first—you’ll need to purchase a map, available at most major shops throughout Epcot:
- Gateway Gifts
- Creations Shop
- Port of Entry
- World Traveller
- Disney Traders
There are even maps at the various kiosks around World Showcase.
The map is $9.99, and you can get an AP or DVC discount. With your artist’s palette; you just pull off the artwork stickers and match them to the corresponding pavilion.
After you fill out the map, you can pick a prize. My one tip is to get the prize right when you buy the map. With that, you will not miss out. Sometimes, the prizes do “sell” out, especially the Figment ones.
With the Brush with the Masters, there are three stencils. You can choose Mickey, Minnie, and Figment this year. Any guesses about which one I chose?
Keep your eyes peeled for paintings adorned with a special gilded Figment frame. These pieces feature Figment inserted into some of the world’s most famous masterpieces.
You will find all of these paintings throughout World Showcase. Many of them are tucked near checkout registers. But just to keep things interesting, a few locations have been switched up this year. We are going to stay sharp!
Mexico
To find it, we need to enter the temple. You will want to head toward La Cava de Tequila. Just to the left of the entrance, you’ll spot the painting on a side wall
Look by the EXIT sign…
Right off to the side…
There’s our Figgy! I tried to get a go shot, but I was getting the stink-eye by a couple siping on their margaritas.
Landscape Near the Volcano Figment features Figment’s head in the smoke above the volcano. This painting was inspired by Johann Moritz Rugendas’ Vista del Volcán Colima.
Norway
This painting loves to move around. This year, we are back in The Fjording, but we need to make our way to exit for Frozen.
You will want to go into the shop and make a right for the Frozen exit.
When I mean exit, I mean exit. It is the farthest painting down the hallway.
Over the Falls pays tribute to Maelstrom and Norwegian tapestries. Figment is taking the plunge. Now back let’s go over the falls, and hunt down a few more paintings.
China
This Figment painting never changes. It is outside the House of Good Fortune, which is at the back of the pavilion.
Just before you reach the shop. Take a look at the two red pillars to the right.
Figment shares a meal in The Ox and The Dragon. This painting is inspired by The Picture of the Spring Ox.
Germany
If you want to see Figment, we will have to head into Stein Haus.
Walk inside and look to your right. Figment is next to the registers.
Figment is back in The Heart of All Creation, with Figment taking the place of Cupid.
Italy
The Mona Lisa Figment is located in the Enoteca Castello. Now if you enter the building with the main signage, you will want to head to the right by the registers.
Figment is located right behind the main registers.
There he is: Figment is Mona Figment as a play on Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
American Adventure
When you are in the American Adventure pavilion, head into the Art of Disney. Figment will be back towards the registers.
Figment is taking the place of Nathanael Greene in The Dragon Crossing the Delaware.
This take on Emanuel Leutze’s Washington Crossing the Delaware just above the lightboxes by the registers.
Japan
This was the hardest one to find, and it was completely right under my nose. When you get to the front door of the Mitsukoshi Department Store, walk to your right. Do not go into the store.
There’s a wooden wall to the right, and Figment is hanging out there.
And you’ll find Figment catching The Waves of Inspiration in a rendition of Katsushika Hokusai’s The Great Wave of Kanagawa inspired this painting.
Morocco
More this one, we will want to head to the Brass Bazaar.
One you get to the registers, you will want to look straight down to the right
A Figment abstract can be found in the Pigments of Figment, which is similar to the Zellij tile patterns.
I don’t usually post pictures of other people, but this guy made me laugh. He was so excited to find the painting.
France
Last year, Figment moved to Les Halles, but this time , he’s back in his original spot.
You will want to walk to the breezeway that is to right of this building. Look into the window of Librairie et Gallerie.
Figment is placed in the window with the worst possible reflection from the outside.
Figment is back in Claude Monet’s Waterlily Pond: Green Harmony. Reflections of Imagination
United Kingdom
For the UK, you can usually find Figment in a shop window. This is an easy find, and you don’t even have to go into the pavilion.
He’s in the window of the Sportman’s Shoppe, which is the big brown building on the left (if you’re traveling from France).
Take a peek in the window.
And Figment is back as The Blue Boy in Thomas Gainsborough’s piece.
Canada
And finally, Canada! Most of the pavilion has been under construction for a mystery project. So don’t bother heading up to Trading Post Refreshments.
We need to head all the way back to the Kidcot area, also known as the exit to Canada the Beautiful.
You will want to walk to the left of the Kidcot station. Figment is on the wall.
Figgy is back in the Emily Carr-inspired Dreamers’ Woods.
This is a great spot. In the previous years, you couldn’t see many of the details. But now that Figment is at eye level, you can appreciate the beauty of this painting.
That’s it! We have come to the end! If you’ve been following along, the completed map should look this this.
And the prize? Well, you can’t go wrong with Figment. You get two stencils: one with our purple dragon friend and another of Spaceship Earth.
That concludes our Brush with the Masters.
Are you going to look for Figment or is this a pass? Let me know in the comments.
