Mission: Thumper!
Today, we mission and one mission only: to get the Thumper popcorn bucket.
I saw the long lines on release day, and I wasn’t going to deal with that. So, I was hoping to get a chance to grab one on Saturday.
Welcome to the furthest parking lot in Epcot.
Even when you come here early, Disney is insisting on parking you from the durthest spot from the entrance.
We’re so far out that we are in the area with the tents for the Springtime Spring race.
So first stop was the popcorn cart outside of Connections, and guess what? They had plenty of Thumper buckets.
So, like any good blogger, I had to find the right spot…
And take a picture of our goods. Hello, new Easter decoration.
Now that Thumper is secured, it is time for breakfast: Avocado Toast.
And a little scenery…
After wolfing that down, it was time to check out Connections. Here are the 2025 versions of Easter Bunny Mickey and Minnie. Mickey is chomping on a carrot and Minnie is licking chocolate.
We wanted to check out two booths: Florida Fresh and Farmer’s Feast.
We grabbed the Strawberry Shortcake and Conch Fritters.
The conch had a good flavor, but the key lime sauce was definitely a little eye opening tart.
Finally, Disney made a Strawberry Shortcake that actually tasted great. The strawberries were sweet and the sponge cake was not super dry.
Now time to check out Farmer’s Feast. But first, do you see Spike the Bee?
The kitchen for Farmer’s Feast
We ordered the Scallops with Spring Pea Risotto
And the Blueberry Crumb Cake.
The scallops were a tad rubbery, but the risotto was absolutely delicious. As for the crumb cake, it was half melted by the time I got my serving.
Hello, Spike!
When at the Flower and Garden Festival, you have to check out the arrangements everywhere…in the water.
In the pavilions…
And even by the walls! There’s color everywhere!
Since we were walking around, we used this time to hunt for the hidden Easter eggs. If you find all the locations, check this out.
As we walked through the United Kingdom, we had to say “Hi” to our friends from the Hundred Acres Woods.
Along with the egg hunt, we were looking for Spike the Bee. Can you see him? We have all the answers here.
The koi are always happily swimming along, and there’s a Hidden Mickey in the drainage grate.
Disney, you need to sell these mouse-eared kokedamas. I’ll buy five!
Looks like St. Marks Tower is under construction.
After pushing through the crowds, we made it out of World Showcase. Look who we have found: Coco and Dante!
Last year, this was the first projection topiary. That didn’t last long.
We stopped into the Citrus Blossom for one last treat: the Orange Slush and Tempura Shrimp.
With a slow walkout, we moseyed past Pluto and checked out Connections.
And one more glance at Donald… for the road.
Let’s trudge back to the car. You know, all the way by the line of port-a-potties.
Everything was perfect until I realized that the Cast Member gave me the wrong prize for the Easter hunt.
I said Thumper, but this looks like Dale. It’s Easter, and that means bunny time. Who wants a chipmunk?
I’m sure I’ll live… somehow.
That’s it for this adventure. Until next time!
