Cosby Bust Removed at DHS

Well if you were expecting to see the bust of Bill Cosby in front of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza, you missed your chance. The bronze bust was installed in 1994. But after mounting allegations of sexual misconduct, Disney has decided to distance themselves from the controversy.

Calls for the removal of the statue started with an online petition. Disney Park officials confirmed that the bust’s removal would take place after the park closed on Tuesday night.  While the Cosby’s likeness has been removed, the inscribed plaque still remains on site.
