More Closures for Disney Hollywood Studios

The construction of Toy Story Land and the Star Wars area has prompted several closures within Disney Hollywood Studios. Beginning April 2nd, Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show and nearby locations around Streets of America will be shutting down. There are other shops and attractions closing permanently as of April 3, 2016. They include:

  • Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure
  • Meet & Greet: Mike and Sulley at Streets of America
  • Prop Shop
  • Studio Catering Co.
  • The Writer’s Stop
  • Watto’s Grotto

So long Carrot Cake cookie!

The iconic Earful Tower will also be coming down in the future. But no word whether it is being moved to another location or to be removed from Walt Disney World permanently.

Theresa has been a life-long Disney fan since she first visited the Magic Kingdom in 1985 at the age of 3. According to her mother, she squealed with excitement when she saw Winnie the Pooh and Chip n' Dale for the first time. That love for Disney has not waned as she grew up.
