Guests Can Opt-Out of MagicBands

Say goodbye to the piles of old MagicBands. Disney has now given their guests the option of “opting- out” of receiving a MagicBand with each new reservation. The one catch, there must be an active band on the My Disney Experience account and it must less than a year old. Guests will always have the option of receiving a new band as well.

Be aware that Disney has said the batteries in the Magic Bands last for two years.

Theresa has been a life-long Disney fan since she first visited the Magic Kingdom in 1985 at the age of 3. According to her mother, she squealed with excitement when she saw Winnie the Pooh and Chip n' Dale for the first time. That love for Disney has not waned as she grew up.
