If you are looking for a great side-activity while browsing and sampling the food booths, make sure to check out the Chalk Full of Characters activity around World Showcase, and now World Nature and Celebration.

This offering is free to all guests, and there are no prizes. But who can resist searching for them in every nook and cranny throughout Epcot.

Are you ready to search for these fun characters? Here are the hiding locations of these chalk art pieces.

If you want to stay-spoiler free, skip this article and check out the Look Inside Figment’s Inspiration Station.

World Nature

The Land – Splat

If you are looking for the chalk character at The Land, you will want to look up. Just inside the exterior glass skylight under the pavilion’s ceiling, you will see Splat from Strange World.

World Celebration

Imagination Pavilion – Sorcerer Mickey

The Big Cheese can be found just to the left of the reverse water fountain near the Imagination Pavilion. When the festival debuted, Mickey was with his trusty broom. However, it looks like Sorcerer Mickey is now flying solo.

World Discovery

Mission Space – Wall-E, Eve, and M-O

Walk towards the entrance of Mission Space, but instead of heading into the queue, check out the wall of exploration with the big blue sphere. Look up, and you will see these characters.

Between Connections and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – Groot

Baby Groot is hiding, so you will have to keep an eye for him. Look towards the wall when you take the walkway from Connections to Guardians. You will see Groot peeking (or growing) out from the shrubbery.

For now, that’s all of the characters in the former Future World. Keep in mind that can change. We’ve already seen a couple of changes just in the first three weeks. On to World Showcase…

Canada

Mei, Bao, and Koda

Canada has three characters, and one is very tricky to spot unless you are in the right position.

If you head down to Canada Far and Wide (or the Kidcot station exit, look at the wall, and Mei from Turning Red is in all her Red Panda glory.

As you head up the path up toward Le Cellier and the Victoria Garden’s exit, keep looking over towards the right near little waterfall. Depending on the angle, you should be able to catch of a glimpse of Koda from Brother Bear eating a snack.

After that, take the stairs (or ramp), and head past the totem poles and Trading Post. You will want to look above the windows of the Château Frontenac to the right. Bao is happily grinning from the Pixar short of the same name.

United Kingdom

Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Little John, Skippy, Merlin, Arthur, and BroomDog

The United Kingdom is chock full of characters, and many of them are small. Keep your eyes open!

As you walk towards the back of the pavilion, look to the left near Lords and Ladies. You will see Robin Hood’s Little John, Robin Hood, and Skippy just above the shrubbery.

Keep walking near the garden path. Look up at the pillars near the end of the garden. You will see a few characters from the Sword in the Stone in squirrel forms. Merlin, Arthur, and the lovesick lady squirrels are on the tall pillars.

These squirrels also made a move. The new location is definitely easier to view.

The former locations:

Before you leave this area, walk through the garden maze. The BroomDog from Alice in Wonderland is located on the right side of the stage, only a few steps from the Sword in the Stone squirrels. The BroomDog is right near the small opening in the bushes, where the little ones love to crawl through.

The last chalk character is Peter Pan, or more precisely, his shadow. Take the walking path to the tea garden’s behind The Queen’s Table and The Tea Caddy. This character is peeking into a second-floor window.

France

Lumiere, Remy, Emile, Toulouse, Berlioz, and Marie

France is home to a couple of chalk characters. If you walk towards Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, keep looking up to the left. These characters are located in a corner near the metal piping. You can see Remy scurrying up the pipe while Emile sits on a ledge.

After that, head back to the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along (or Impressions de France). Look at the ledge. You will see Lumiere propped up near the attraction’s entrance.

If you are a fan of the Aristocats, walk around the corner from the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. Keep your eyes up as you turn to spot Toulouse, Berlioz, and Marie near La Petite Rue.

Morocco

Abu

Morocco only has one chalk character, and you will want to keep your eyes peeled for the sneaky thief, Abu from Aladdin. He’s helping himself to a few goodies near an iron rack. Walk towards the Brass Bazaar and take a right. You should spot him just above the iron light fixture.

Japan

Duffy the Bear, Gelatoni the Cat, Harryhausen Sushi Chef

Head toward the entrance of Mitsukoshi and walk to the left. Look up near the ceiling beams, where you will find Duffy the Bear and Gelatoni the Cat creating their own Hidden Mickey.

Now walk to the back of the Japan pavilion and cross the bridge. Turn to the right. You will see the Harryhausen Sushi Chef from Monsters, Inc. on the exterior wall of the department store.

American Adventure

Amos

You will only find one chalk character in the home pavilion. Since American Adventure showcases the history of the United States, it is only appropriate to find Amos the Mouse from the 1953 animated short Ben and MeThe story follows the adventures of Amos as he helps Benjamin Franklin with a few notable achievements throughout his career. Amos is near the far-right corner of the Art of Disney’s exterior building.

Italy

Luca, Alberto, Machiavelli, and Jiminy Cricket

You don’t have to walk far into the Italy Pavilion to find these chalk characters. If you look by the water fountain between Gelateria Toscana and the Prosecco wine cart, you can see the characters from Luca. Alberto, Luca, and Machiavelli are gathering around the fountain, splashing in the water.

To find Jiminy Cricket, you don’t have to go far. Just head around the corner to the right, and you will see Pinocchio’s favorite conscience in the exposed exterior near the balcony.

Germany

Pascal and Spike the Bee

Tangled’s Pascal is hiding in a few spots throughout the Germany Pavilion. The first spot is just a few steps from the restrooms. As you head to the Bier Stand, look to the right exterior of the building. Pascal is painting a sunburst.

Next head over to the painted sign for Volkskunst Clocks and Crafts shop. Shhh.. he’s camouflaged in the “Clocks and Crafts” sign.

Pascal’s final hiding spot is on the Karamell-Kuche. He is located near the rain gutter on the right side of the building. You will see him snagging a piece of caramel popcorn.

While Spike the Bee is one of the official mascots for Flower and Garden, that’s not stopping him from making an appearance for this festival. Take a look at the flower boxes near the Karamell-Kuche storefront. You will see Spike smelling the flowers.

We’ll see you later, Spike!

China

Mushu, Cri-Kee, and Little Brother

China’s chalk characters come from Mulan, and you will have to look in two different locations for them. Tucked behind the Joy of Tea and Good Fortune Gifts is a “hole” in the wall with Mushu and Cri-Kee.

From there, walk into the pavilion and past Lotus Blossom Cafe. You can find Little Brother on the right side of the House of Good Fortune near a bench. This location might be hard to spot because there’s always someone resting in that area.

Norway

Bruni and the Snowgies

As you may imagine, these chalk characters are from the Frozen franchise. You don’t have to head all the way back into the pavilion to search for them. First, walk towards Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. Instead of going inside, take the small walkway between the building and Stave Church. There’s a tiny “fireplace” on the right. Take a peek, and you will spot Bruni.

Now head to the restroom area. You will want to look up and to the right. The Snowgies are all hanging out near the roofline.

Mexico

We have finally reached the end (or beginning depending on how you walk around Epcot). The last character comes courtesy of Coco. Dante makes two appearances here. Go to the base of the pyramid, but don’t head inside. Walk to the left side doors, and you will find Dante in his physical form on the exterior wall.

Now, walk to the right to see a spiritual guide form of the beloved pup.

Congratulations! You have found all of the chalk art characters throughout Epcot. Celebrate with a drink or treat of choice.

Do you have a favorite chalk character? Would you spend time searching for these art pieces?
