Egg-citing Easter Hunt: Let’s Search for the Answers at the 2023 EPCOT Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt!

We are only two weeks from Easter. What does that mean? It’s time for the traditional egg hunt (the Eggstravaganza) around Epcot during the Flower and Garden Festival. Now, this hunt is a little different from last year, with new and improved eggs. If you recalled last year, the eggs were all Disney characters, which is never a bad thing. But Epcot went all bunny-inspired for this year.

For this 2023 EPCOT Eggstravagnza Egg Hunt, things are a little different…in a good way. Now you have to search for bunny-inspired Easter eggs. So get ready to find your favorite rabbits throughout the World Showcase from now until Easter (or supplies last).

Like always, you need to pick up a map at any store or Festival kiosk. Almost any spot with festival merch will have them. The maps are $9.99, but you can get an AP discount.

If you have done these scavenger hunts in the past, you know how it works. Take the map, find the eggs, and place the corresponding sticker on the map. Easy peasy!

Traditionally, we’re a Canada-to-Mexico family, but we decided to mix things up and start things to the left.

Are you ready? Let’s go bunny egg hunting! First stop: The Odyssey!

The Odyssey

For this egg, we walked all around the building – no luck. Of course, the only spot must be inside the Citrus Blossom booth, which is basically the old Odyssey. You will want to go all the way inside the merch/dining section and look up.

The Muppets’ Bean Bunny is occupying a perch above the entrance.

Mexico

Thankfully, you don’t have to head into the busy temple. Just keep to your right and look up at the balcony of the La Hacienda de San Angel.

You will see the Jackalope looking over the crowds.

Norway

Trying to find the egg in Norway was a little tricky, but only because a row of strollers hid it.

Take a look at the area across from the Anna and Elsa Royal Sommerhus entrance.

Skippy from Robin Hood is hanging out in the shrubbery.

China

Finding the bunny egg in China was a bit easier. Walk into the pavilion by Nine Dragons Restaurant. There is a grassy patch with the next hidden egg.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit makes an appearance in China.

Germany

If you want to see this bunny-inspired egg, walk all the way to the Der Teddyber store. Look up at the window on the right.

You can see Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh.

Italy

In the past, these eggs have been perched in hard-to-see places. Thankfully, you just have to walk to the Kidcot station to check out the next egg.

It’s not exactly located on the Kidcot station but a little off to the left of the building.

The Alec Azam egg is perched above the dining area.

American Adventure

Now we’re at the halfway point! Out of all the bunny eggs, the American Adventure one was tucked into a corner.

Head to the Kidcot station by the Art of Disney. You can see Ducky and Bunny egg from Toy Story 4 on the wooden hutch.

Japan

Let’s head to Japan. You will want to look around the bonsai tree garden to the right of the Torii Gate.

Judy Hopps is reporting for duty.

Morocco

With Morocco, you can usually find scavenger hunt items on the outside of the pavilion. With that in mind, look over to the Oasis Sweets & Sips building, with the yummy baklava.

Bambi’s Thumper is situated right on the corner of the building.

France

After admiring the Lumiere and Cogsworth topiaries, walk down to the Bouquet Garden.

Miss Bunny is located in the garden, next to the potted plants.

United Kingdom

To find this egg, you will have to walk into the pavilion towards the garden courtyard area. There are two topiaries: Mickey Mouse and an elephant.

The White Rabbit is tucked into the flowers, and he can be a little hard to see from a distance.

It looks like the White Rabbit might have some allergies with those red eyes.

Canada

Finally, the last egg! Canada loves to hide any type of scavenger item in the Victoria Gardens area, so that is where we went.

Walk down the path, and you will spot the last egg – the March Hare. Coincidentally, I look the same after spending a crowded, hot day in Epcot.

If you’ve been following along, the map should look like this:

Time to pick up our prize! You can redeem your map at any of the stores (Creations, Port of Entry, Gateway Gifts, etc.).

Take a look at the prizes for this year:

It was a toss-up between Marie and the Cheshire Cat, but Chessy won. Like always, it is one prize per map. The plastic eggs have the character on the front with the words “Eggstravangza” on the back. You can even open them and put a treat, or other goodies, inside the egg.

Overall, this is a fun way to spend a lazy day at Epcot. Compared to other scavenger hunts, this one is really kid-friendly, with many of the eggs near the Kidcot stations and at ground level. If you want to participate in the bunny-centric hunt, make sure to visit before Easter.

Theresa has been a life-long Disney fan since she first visited the Magic Kingdom in 1985 at the age of 3. According to her mother, she squealed with excitement when she saw Winnie the Pooh and Chip n' Dale for the first time. That love for Disney has not waned as she grew up. She continues to be fascinated with the history of EPCOT Center and maintains the radio station, Kungaloosh Radio.
